Some of the biggest mistakes that salespeople make are the easiest to correct. If there’s one thing I know about salespeople, it’s that they will complicate shit to where you can’t sell it any more. In sales, knowledge does not always equate to income. Matter of fact, the more a salesman knows about things, the more he is likely to give out too much info and blow a sale.
The same thing goes for information about sales. You don’t need to know the psychology or reason behind why things work, it will only cause you to overcomplicate a simple process that you can duplicate. Instead all you need to know is that it works for others and it will work for you. Remove attachment to the outcome and embrace the process.
