We all want to win big but no one really tells you how to win big, I can tell you one thing it does not happen over night, all big wins come from small sets /steps.
If you look at sports like the NFL everyone wants to make it to the SuperBowl but you have to play all those games prior and be victorious, these are those small steps.
Basketball games aren’t won on 3 point shots. Baseball games aren’t won on home runs. Football games aren’t won on 2 point conversions.
Basketball games are won on 2 point shots and free throws. Baseball games are won by hitting singles. Football games are usually won by kicking field goals.
Yet most of us think we must swing for the fences in order to get ahead. Sure, it’s sexy as hell to hit a home run, but it pays better to swing and hit consistent singles.
So next time don’t overlook the small wins and remember if you want to win big you gotta take small steps to get there, this applies to the business world as well.
Simplicity sells, simplicity sell the sub-conscious and you have to work your way up to achieve your goals.
Big wins come from small scores compounded over time. This is why the myth of the overnight success is bullshit. The overnight successor comes from years of small moves that finally compound overnight.
